I’m a Chicago-based writer and creative drawn to the stories behind what we wear, listen to, consume, and create.
I’ve written for The New York Times, SPIN Magazine, and Vox Magazine, and spent the past year shaping the editorial voice and strategy of The Subtext, a publication exploring the power of language in branding.
I’m currently a Contributing Writer for The Subtext, where I cover the sociology of brand.
My work spans strategy, copy, and social for creative teams including The Subtext, Nimble, KCOU 88.1FM, and Persimmon Creek Artists & Writers Residency. I collaborate with founders and creative leaders to craft personal brand stories and thought leadership grounded in cultural insight.
Outside of client work, I write Dreamworld, a newsletter exploring imagination and creative identity through the lens of music, fashion, design, and popular culture.
